Education Planning
Regardless of the career path your child chooses, there seems to be little doubt that it is going to cost a significant amount for his or her dream to come true. There is very little free education available today. The government is cutting back on student loans, there are fewer subsidies to educational institutions and tuition fees are rising steadily. Many bright students may not be able to afford a post secondary education.
Some authorities are suggesting that it could cost more than $100,000 to finance a four-year university program for a child born today. If saving for education is one of your goals we can work together to set up an appropriate program to meet your needs. The federal government introduced an incentive program in 1998 called the Canadian Education Savings Grant (CESG).
